here, here...I love the color of the foot part of #2, but hate the top cream color...that's why I choose 1. I'd rather have #2's bottom part on #1's boot.

Well you know me and how I like unique boots...I really like the creme color on the top of boot #2 I think it sets it apart...and another thing...you won't really see that when I'm wearing them...since I like color 2's toe so much more, I'm more inclined to go for the color I like best...since you won't be able to see the creme color when I'm wearing them...another thing that bothers me about #1 is that I'm not really sure what the leather will look like...#2 you can tell is smooth...but #1 you can't tell if it's rough, smooth or what it is...and that kinda bothers me...I think I'll go with #2 but I'm still open to hear arguments...

I just called Crossroads and got some good news...I can order those ostrich boots from them...it will be a little more expensive than the ones I found on-line, but I can put them on lay-away...I may go up there and browse through their catalogs and see if I find anything that tickles my fancy anymore...but if not I may go ahead and get those ordered and put them in lay-away...

your dream boots, i dislike. my uncle is a big
boot fan... and i've seen pretty much all sorts
of boots..... on him. i'm not a big boot fan...
that is to say, i don't get all bunched up over
a pair of boots. in addition to pants, boots are
prolly the second thing that you cannot remove
in a sexy manner... but what do i care?
personally, i agree with dj (#3) for the same reasons.
they are very simple and to the point, as well
as stylish and can be worn with a variety of
options.
if versatility is what you are after... i say
#3 all the way.
however.... i really.... really dig #1. i think
roxane said #1 as well. they are just very
attractive (as far as a boot goes) and masculine...
not like those other j. crew boots you have listed.
so... in short, if you want versatility... #3.
for flare... #1....
and thats just my opinion

Well I thank everyone for their input...and although noone has picked them but me...I think I'm gonna go w/ boot #2...I like boot 1...it's the first one I picked...but something is missing with it...I dunno...I'm just really drawn to #2, they just seem really unique and that really draws me in...
And about my dream boots...they are that because of 1. the color...dark brown or black is what I decided I was going to get for my Ostrich...and those are exactlly the brown I like...2. they are 2-tone...I'm a sucker for that...3. the top part has alot of detail in it...alot of nice stiching...and there even appears to be some ostrich inlayed in a few parts...when I go order them I'm gonna go through all the magazines and make sure there isn't anything else that catches my eye...
